When we came across April and Matt’s amazing DIY wedding, all of their cute and crafty ideas left us speechless. There’s so many in fact, we decided to feature it in a three-part series on the blog. First up, how fun is April’s handmade paper bouquet? She takes Origami to a whole new bridal level: we love that her flowers are inexpensive, that the petals won’t wilt, and that it’s a keepsake you’ll have forever. Try getting a kit that's similar from PaperSource. And did we mention that the bridesmaids’ bouquets were pinned with “team bride” buttons? Check back later this week for more great ideas from this wedding! Portraits and Weddings by Lori Anderson and Keith Mason for Lori Anderson Photography -- Jen DeRose 6 comments | post a comment

These are really nice, but I don't think I am that crafty to pull this one off or atleast not pull it off and they look that good, lol.

Hey Ladies! I am so excited that my wedding got showcased on My Diy Wedding! The bouquets were not as hard as you might think, they just took a lot of patience. I bought a kit at the Papersource to get an idea on how to make paper flowers. I made the flowers from the kit, then I got all my own supplies and put together my own. The bigger the flowers the easier it is. The bridesmaide flowers were simple, and all my bridesmaides help with the crafting process :)

I love the paper bouquet, it's adorable. This idea would also be great for a bridal shower.
