Cute Calendar Wedding Date KeepsakeOne of the hardest areas to decorate at a wedding has got to be the seating card-guest book table. It's the first things guests see when they arrive at your reception, so you want to make a good impression. With that in mind, we knew this DIY project would be the perfect solution. Your finished piece will look just as adorable sitting on the table, as it will look hanging in your home's entryway after the honeymoon. Added bonus: Your future husband will never have an excuse for forgetting your anniversary! To make it, try seeking out a flea market or antique shop to find a great deal on vintage house numbers. You can also try purchasing a few different styles, like these from Anthropologie or Ace Hardware. Mount the numbers to a sturdy backing by pinning or using a silicone adhesive, then frame with a mat board. Finally, place in a frame that reflects your wedding style. (Try a wooden one if your style is rustic, or go with sleek silver if you’re more of a traditional bride.) --Jen DeRoseThanks to Hazelnut Photography! 10 comments | post a comment

I've been working on one of those for my sister-in-law. I'm a typography nerd, so walking around town snapping photos of different letters and numbers has been a real treat for me.
