Real Wedding Inspiration: Jordyn and Bradley

TecPetaja_bradley_jordyn

We couldn’t wait to share the photos we spotted on OnceWed.com of Jordyn and Bradley’s wedding. This charming DIY duo sprinkled tons of charming, handcrafted details throughout their wedding day.

In her hair, Jordyn wore a vintage hand-crocheted headband to accessorize her soft up do.

For the décor, Jordyn and Bradley drizzled tons of vintage ideas throughout the reception. They borrowed mason jars, vases (even buckets!) from family and friends to dress their venue. For pops of color, they filled these glass vessels with punchy, vibrant buttons.

Flowers always add a bright touch to the big day. Jordyn and Bradley picked up all of their blooms for their bouquets at a local wholesale florist. Better yet, they did them all on their own! It’s a big job for most brides but this couple made it look so easy. Simply beautiful. The finishing touch: all of the guys’ boutonnières were sealed with a button.

Displaying photos is a great way to put a personal touch on your venue. Guests love taking a walk down memory lane and seeing photos of you –and the people who mean so much to you. Sticking with their theme (these two didn’t miss a beat!) Jordyn and Bradley framed family portrait in button-trimmed frames.

Thanks again for sharing your wedding pictures, Jordyn and Bradley, and congrats on your marriage and beautiful day. Other DIY brides -- we want to hear about your experience too! Leave a comment, or e-mail us at editors@mydiyweddingday.com.

DIY weddings are a good idea when you are on a budget. They are also a great idea if you just want it to look good! I did my own wedding announcements instead of paying somebody, it saved a couple hundred dollars!
