Did you know that if you have a green thumb, you can look to your garden and your garage for an easy DIY centerpiece idea? Go the homegrown route: Pluck a few of your favorite blooms (or buy them from the local flower market if you'd prefer to leave your garden in tact.) Next find a variety of old jars in your garage or attic, or at your local flea market. Clean them out, fill them with water, and use them to display your flowers on your wedding day. The centerpiece will look organic and airy, and will be perfect for an outdoor or garden ceremony. A tip: Don't cut or buy flowers any sooner than the morning of the wedding if you can. You'll want them to stay alive as long as possible for a fresh look and feel.
