Whether you’re throwing a vintage-themed wedding, or just looking to mix a little old in with the new, creating your own tribute décor can be a fun and easy DIY project. First, dig through your stuff to find old photos and keepsakes you might want to display at your wedding. Next, buy frames to hold each selection, keeping your wedding style in mind. Frame your memories and print or handwrite descriptions of each on little display cards. The guestbook table is an ideal place to display tem when you’re done. That way everyone will have a chance to see them. Images: KM Photography Weddings 3 comments | post a comment

I think the photos are a nice tribute to family and friends.

We took the same idea but we printed the photos onto vellum paper and attached it to a cylinder vase. We floated candles in the vase so that the pictures were glowing. They look beautiful and make my eyes well up each time I get to look at my grandparents on their wedding days.
