To get this look, just surround a pretty bouquet with potted plants for guests to take home. Choose long-stemmed flowers like ranunculus or roses for the center, so they'll be visible behind the other greenery. For the favors, pick plants that can be potted in soil and will be relatively easy to take care of after guests bring them home. Get the green look pictured at left with herbs like basil or mint, or use potted flowers like marigolds for a little more color. Feel free to mix and match! Use mini terra-cotta pots from a craft store like Michaels for the plants. Paint them in your signature colors if you'd like, or leave them in their natural hue for a more rustic look. Personalize each plant with a small card with the guest's name, stuck in the dirt with a wooden stake. On the back of the card, write out plant care instructions. Such a fun way for guests to bring home a little piece of your special day! Image: Leslie Gilbert Photography 0 comments | post a comment
